Dear Parents,

The safety of our students, their families and our Hebrew School staff is of utmost importance. The following current protocols will be implemented during Hebrew School. We will continually reassess these guidelines as appropriate and as guided by healthcare professionals.

The protocols are as follows:

  • Temperature checks will be taken at drop off. Any student with an elevated temperature will be sent home.

  • There will be no adults allowed in Hebrew School at any time during Hebrew School other than our teachers and staff. All parents can email/text/call with any questions or concerns, as necessary.

  • There will be hand sanitizing stations around the building that will be used throughout the day, including the beginning of the day as students enter the building.

  • All teachers and staff will be required to wear masks inside the building.

  • All students will be required to wear masks inside the building.

  • Food items will be individually packaged and will not be handled by our staff.

Sick Policy:

  • Please check your child’s temperature at home prior to coming to Hebrew School if they may be ill.

  • Keep your child home if they are showing any signs or symptoms of illness.

  • Children must be symptom free (without the aid of a fever reducing medication) for 1 week.

  • If you, your spouse or other members of your family have a temperature or are sick, we respectfully request that you keep your child/ren home.

  • The success of in person Hebrew School depends upon all families openly and honestly communicating whether anyone in their home has tested positive or even has any related symptoms.

With everyone following all the necessary proactive precautions, we are confident that your child(ren) can be provided with an amazing, educational and exciting semester at the FiDi Hebrew School.

In the event that in person Hebrew School has to take a break, we will immediately pivot to a robust, virtual program with live teachers and classes. All necessary supplies for lessons will be provided.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
